A world learning to recover
Our initial region connects open meadows, winding water and a dense forest. Old infrastructure is woven into a natural world in recovery.
We are Sevlesmi. An independent game studio inspired by the hand-drawn anime of the ’80s and ’90s, building original interactive experiences with AI-assisted development.

Sevlesmi is an early-stage independent game studio developing an exploration adventure set in a recovering biological-future world.
Our initial project centres on a connected plains-and-forest region: rolling meadows, riverbanks and an upstream forest, with traces of an old water-regulation network. The design emphasises observation, environmental exploration and relationships with creatures. Visually, we are working toward the painted backgrounds and analog warmth of 1980s–1990s anime.
Our current direction centres on games. These are areas of development, rather than a catalogue of released titles.

The game design focuses on reading the environment, choosing routes and using tools and creature companionship to solve problems.
We are developing a game workflow that brings hand-painted environment art, readable gameplay and AI-assisted coding together.
We are developing a workflow that combines AI assistance with human design and review. Claude and Claude Code support planning, coding and technical experimentation as we work toward playable game prototypes.
Define a game concept, its world and the player experience we want to test.
Turn design ideas into early mechanics and interactive prototypes, with AI assisting development.
Review gameplay, identify technical issues and iterate on controls, clarity and creative direction.
Use what we learn from prototypes to shape the next phase of production.
We are developing the initial Plains–Forest region and experimenting with environments, gameplay prototypes and the visual pipeline. This is a project in development; artwork on this website is concept illustration, rather than evidence of a released game.
